Parents, siblings and friends, unanimously recognising that prohibition was more the problem than the solution, came together in 1995 to form a not for profit organisation, Families and Friends for Drug Law Reform (FFDLR). FFDLR recognises the failure of present prohibition policies because they do not prevent the use of illegal drugs; do not protect our young people, their families or their friends from related tragedy; and put the control of illegal drugs outside the law.
